Our main goal is to bring a local pet business that is loving ,caring , and trustworthy to the Winter Haven community. We want to build friendships and work with the community the best we can. Your family is our family here at Ruff & Fluff!

Ruff & Fluff is the product of a 15-year friendship between owners Amanda Howell and Ann Murphy.

Ann met Amanda after trying several groomers in the area. She knew she had found the perfect groomer when her dogs LOVED going to Amanda. Amanda’s desire to have her own business timed perfectly with Ann’s need to fill the “empty nest” feeling. Complementing each other, Amanda oversees the pet activities while Ann oversees the daily operations of the business. Everyone here at Ruff & Fluff owns multiple pets and share the same passion and love for animals.

We offer Boarding, Grooming & Doggie Daycare!

Your dog will love our spacious play yard that is filled with play equipment and toys. Any “child” that is new will be slowly introduced to the other playmates one by one that they will be interacting with throughout the day. Whether your pet is here for boarding or daycare, please rest assured and know they are being watched very closely by our staff and the areas are monitored 24/7 by cameras as well. Boarding guests get their own blankets and please feel free to bring any toys, treats, or bedding you would like your pet to have during their stay. Medications can also be given if needed free of charge. Also, your dog can be included in daycare at no extra charge during their stay if they play well with others. If you are unsure whether your dog would like daycare, we offer a complementary 2 hour session. Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordatella for all services, including the complementary session. With over 35 years of experience between the them, our 3 groomers are fantastic and you won’t be disappointed! Depending on your pet’s age, season, and your personal preference, you may have specific desires for the haircut and style. Our groomers always consult with you before your pet gets groomed to help decide what will work best. We want to not only meet your expectations, but exceed them.

"I am a volunteer with Central FL Weim Rescue DBA Lifeline Dog Rescue. I foster dogs on occasion waiting for their forever families. Recently we had a case of 9 intakes, 4 puppies and 5 adults. We took two puppies into our home until their adoptive family can be found. Amanda immediately stepped up for us offering to clean these babies up at no charge for the rescue. After weeks of being kenneled and smelling of foul urine and feces, when they left Ruff N Fluff they smelled like puppies again. This was a no-brainer for me as my little Yorkie has been groomed by Amanda for years and absolutely loves her! Now I take my Aussie Shepherd mix in for deshedding, and I swear she lost 5 lbs of fur weight that day! Next on the list are my 3 Weimaraners who not so much love getting their nails done. "Love the staff!!! They really seem to care about your pet's stay there. I love the big play yard and the inside play areas where the dogs are not caged. I really love the picture and videos that they post daily on facebook so that you can see your babies happy and running and playing with the other dogs. They also take the dogs outside hourly for a few minutes for fresh air, potty and play. I am so glad that I found Ruff & Fluff doggie daycare so that my puppy is not stuck in a cage all day at home while I work and I don't have to worry about him. I will be using them often!!!"
